NBFG GIVEAWAY RESULTS

Thanks to everyone who entered our Method Zip Hoodie Giveaway. We had over a hundred entries so it took a bit of a while to get through, some moving, some funny, some just plain bizarre! In the end we had to focus our judging on specifically what had been entered and the effort that had gone into that entry, business, never personal, as on a level so many ladies out there are undoubtedly Not Bad For a Girl!!!

METHOD ZIP HOODIE GIVEAWAY - NOW CLOSED!

During this month we have been having a giveaway. Prompted by the release of the NBFGx Addict Method Zip hoodies, we decided to give 3 of these bad boys away, plus some sticker packs and tees via a little contest.

All we asked was 'what makes you (or your girl) 'not bad for girl'? It was a simple task, that resulted in a flurry of responses from the one-liners to the more detailed life stories. The competition is now closed. Ethel and I will be judging the entries in the next few days.

NBFG HEARTS ETHEL

This week, in preparation of the Addict launch and giveaway, NBFG hooked up with super talented photographer and graf artist Ethel to shoot our girl Ren in the SS08 MethodZip hoodies. For those who for some reason aren't acquainted with Ethel's work - she's the girl behind all of the amazing photos for Insa, as well as being a seriously accomplished graf writer in her own right. Look out for Sinstars & JNR Sinstars B-Girls at SIN Cru's Cambridge Hip Hop Week 2008, running Monday 31st March - Friday 4th April. A week of intensive Hip Hop dance, art & music courses for kids & adults! Courses include Breakin', Locking, Poppin', Hip Hop Dance, Physio for Dancers,Yoga, Graffiti Art, Graffiti Production, Graffiti Customisation, Beatboxing, DJing and MCing. The week closes with the official afterparty Urban Sinfonie on Friday 4th April which showcases performances and exhibitions from the week as well as the 2on2 & individual B-Boy (Breakdance) battles and Poppin' battle.

BBB 08

Anyone who has ever been to Bread and Butter will understand the total feeling of overwhelmedness the first time you realise just how big this beast is. Too big you might say, especially when you are dying of a hangover from the night before. Thanks Addict/Patta/Killates Crew. Still, all in all I managed to see a lot, chat a lot, drink a lot, eat a whole lot and shop a lot all in one weekend. Job done. GET NEXT

This is my latest notebook. This little baby is totally essential and goes everywhere with me. It's always in my bag or pocket or by the side of my bed for when some random thought seems worth trying to remember. In fact everything was worked out in here for the Summer pieces, which are on their way... At the moment, book's looking nice as it's covered in icon stickers made from the NBFG x Addict co-lab design which is now only a couple of months away from launching. To celebrate the drop, we are going to be giving away a bunch of stuff on the site. So keep em peeled for that, free stuff rules right?

And yes, this year me and Killa Kam are going to be at Bread & Butter. Looking forward to hanging, partying, shopping and generally being in Barcelona rather than being at work.

FIRST WEEK BACK

How much did that hurt? I had to hire a winch to get my xmas bumpa-ass out of bed this week. Lets face it - it's dark, it's cold, it's damp; it's all that is winter in London. My advice is... STAY IN. Preferably with a warm squeeze if you get my meaning. In fact it's good that there's not much to tempt me out as there's enuff I got to get on with right here planning how this year is going to run. Better get on with it right? Preferably with Peanut Butter Wolf's new 'Ladies First' mix playing in the background...
