I’m Karen Jane and I founded Not Bad For a Girl back in 2006, in London England, at a time when niche brands for the ladies were few and far between. I was a self-employed designer with a love for typography, photography, rare rapology and crisp trainers. Yep, I’m gonna call them trainers, but you might know them as ‘sneakers’, ‘kicks’ or even ‘crepes’. Back then I felt like an anomaly in this industry we know is boy-heavy, which is why I started using ‘Not Bad For a Girl’ in the first place; 50% tongue in cheek and 50% provocation.

With help from a loyal circle of London friends and affiliates, this back chat went from motto to business card to t-shirt to boutique brand. The intention always remaining the same; to represent savvy females with some solid design finesse.
NBFG Editions & Roll-Sleeve Print
Not Bad for a Girl produces short run Editions, which are released individually. This means we don’t stick to traditional retail seasons, but roll out releases on a project by project basis as they are created. Not Bad For a Girl shirts are loose fit and feature the NBFG Sleeve-Roll print, unique to the brand.

Some may say it’s a mans world, but it wouldn’t be nothing without Not Bad For a Girl.
