Pop-up drop: Roxanne tee

November 23rd, 2009 · pop up drop

Now that we are busy preparing for our new drops next year I thought I’d post the odd special item here in the blog. Not only because these pieces are super rare and a real treat, but also because you’ve been asking for product and who am I to be holding back on you guys? Especially at Christmas. So this is an opportunity to get hold of NBFG’s all time classics without leaving the comfort of your sofa.

First up the Roxanne battle shirt, still getting props from all angles and impossible to find anywhere. Find out more about it in the archive here. This is my last one in the original first edition red on white colourway, in size medium. Recently located in a reserved parcel for a customer that never collected, so here’s your chance to pick it up. Who wins?

Free stuff, I still love you…

October 21st, 2009 · monthly gift

sticker_face

In fact I never stopped. So if you too would like to show some love for some freeness (stickers this time, but more to come) send me your address and I’ll send ‘em out gratis, ’til this box is empty. This sticker almost fills my entire face, which seemed like a good idea at the time.

*** U P D A T E ***
All done! No more free stickers, the cupboard is bare, the freebee box is empty and all is in the post. I will apologise in advance for our UK lame-o postal issues. But if you ordered before Nov 20th, they will come.

Longest ten minutes ever, resulting in mega-sale!

July 4th, 2009 · what's news

sale

A wise old lady once said to me, ‘when it is this hot you have to take it nice and slow, you certainly can’t rush things’. And crikey was she right. So after a nice leisurely lunch break in the sun, chatting to friends, laying on the grass, supping cool beers, we are finally back to open up shop. Back in full effect you could almost say. We were gonna hold off till the new pieces were in, but we got a bit of a head rush from the icepops / beer / sun and thought lets have a mega-sale! Wild, I know. So these are the last one’s and two’s from the last line, and everything is discounted my friends. So if you spend £25 you get 25% off and if you spend £50 and over you get a mega 50% off. Ooo, I do love it when numbers match. This basically means 1 tee is £18.75, but 2 is only £25. (The discount is added at the shopping cart stage). Bargain garms for you, space for new stock for us. Hey guys, what’s not to like?

***Sunday update***
Not much at all left in the shop now, thanks to all the quick responding bargain hunters yesterday. So we’re just going to make everything that is left a flat 50% off. Kaboom! Sorry if you tried to get something yesterday and it sold out before you could check out, that’s just the way it goes at a mega-sale!

Shop closed. Back in 10mins…

June 11th, 2009 · what's news

Ok, so we have Exhibit A, a new site, and Exhibit B an archive of stuff. But where’s the shop bit? Well it’s coming. Maybe not in 10 mins, but it is, I just wanted to get the site up first. And next I’m going to give some items away. Because I like doing that a whole lot. But whilst I am in the thick of designing, I *may* be open to the odd product request. Drop me a line, say hiyee…

Actually I just reread this and realised that ‘coming soon’ is like a total website cliche. Sorry about that. So what I am saying is if there was product here before that you missed out on, drop me a mail and I’ll check and see if we have any left here in stock. Or if you want the mail for when we re-open join the mailing list to the right —>
Tis all. x

Street Art Book Interview

May 31st, 2009 · books-n-mags

street_art_bk_bw

After Ethel and I shot the image for the Addict colab last year, we (that’s me, Ethel and Eloise from Addict) were asked to contribute to a forthcoming book on Street Art by Ric Blackshaw and Liz Farrelly. It’s good to be invited to contribute, even though I wouldn’t say this co-lab was specifically related to street art as such. I’m a big fan of Liz’s books and who would knock a chance to talk about work? So, I got my copy through a while back and just got around to posting – now that the site has stopped impersonating a yoyo. Click below to read the accompanying short interview…
